Starting June 30th, REI is offering all REI Co-Op members $20 off orders of $100 or more when they purchase items from the REI Outlet. So if you’re in need of some discounted gear, let me help you find some! I’ve scoured the REI Outlet site, looking for some of the best deals and gear. Of course, with any outdoor gear sale, you know it might be last year’s clothes, but that doesn’t make it any less quality.
Take a scan below and see if any of these items entice you! And remember, all of these are discounted gear that you can apply your $20 off discount.
On top of these 10, I wrote an updated article with 28+ more items on the REI Outlet!
All links inside are affiliate links. They cost you nothing, but I get a percent commission when you buy through them. This helps support my writing and offers free articles. Thanks!
July REI Outlet Outdoor Gear Sale 2023
Ya’ll ready for some good deals? Use Promo Code OUT4JUL23. It runs from June 30-July 4. Most of these should still be available, but some may not, as once they run out, they run out.
Today’s Best Outdoor Deals
Marmot Hype Down Hoodie – Men’s
This 800-fill-down, hooded jacket was originally $300. The REI Outlet discount plus your coupon gets it down to $180. The blue supply is quickly going, but it’s available in all sizes if you can handle green.
Summer is almost here, and there’s no better time to get your Chacos. It’s the perfect summer sandal, letting you hike and adventure in it without a problem! Initially $90, these will cost you only $55 with the 2023 Member coupon. Both colors are available in most sizes.
This is my sleeping pad, though newer (mine from 2018 is still crushing it). I can’t recommend this more strongly. It’s like sleeping on a cloud, and I get so many good nights’ sleep on this Big Agnes pad. It is wide, so if you sleep with a partner in a 2P Tent, it might be a bit tight. It was initially $220. You can get it for $130 on REI Outlet. A steal!
Patagonia Down Sweater Vest – Men’s and Women’s
If you want to add a vest to the repertoire, this is your time. You can snag this awesome Patagonia vest, originally $230, for less than $150. I have a version of this and love it. It’s perfect for cold days that don’t call for a full-down jacket. Unfortunately, you won’t find this in an outdoor gear sale too often.
Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve got yours here too.
This is a perfect backpacking sleeping bag, weighing 2.2 pounds. With 800 fill and rated to 20 degrees, this should handle all three-season backpacking trips. It was originally $330, but with the Member Coupon, you can get it for $192.
I’m a massive fan of sun hoodies. They protect you from the elements, decrease the amount of sunblock you have, and dry relatively quickly post-hike. This one from NF is perfect for your outdoor adventure. Starting at $50, you can get this for as low as $31. I’d run to this deal! (Sadly, there wasn’t a women’s option. Uggh.)
Gregory makes phenomenal packs, and this one is no different. The 60L size will suffice for trips up to 4 days and provide you with all the support you need to feel strong throughout. To show brand strength, my 65L Gregory Baltoro is from 2018, and it’s still pressing on. So if you need a pack, get this one! Originally $300, but with a 20% off coupon, you can get it for $180.
A hat might not be flashy or sexy, but it’s one of the essential parts of protecting yourself. A great hat that keeps the sun off you is needed when you’re spending hours and hours outside. So grab this one and keep your skin protected. Originally $45, you can get it for as low as $27.
Everyone needs a good camping grill, and this one seems to be at the top of the line! With two high-powered stoves plus a lower stove that allows you to grill meat or toast sandwiches, I can’t see a reason to turn this down. Originally $300, you can snag this for as low as $160.
I didn’t want to list out a ton of running shoes for this outdoor gear sale article, but there is a decent amount of more than 25% off, and coupled with the Member Coupon, it can save you a good chunk of money if you need some new running shoes. Happy Trails!
If you want more gear, head to REI Outlet and browse away!
Until next time adventurers, take care and be safe.
