Quick Life Update: I bought a camera
This’ll be short and sweet but it’s a (sort of) monumental moment in my life.
I bought a camera and I’m in love! Haha!
Over the weekend, I drove up to Flagstaff to buy a Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR Camera. In terms of life decisions that cost money, this is right behind college, buying a car, and moving out.
However, it’s one that I put a lot of thought in and really wanted to do. Aside from becoming Instagram famous (and then using it to score free gear and travel), being able to document my travels and create visually stunning art is something I’ve come around to as of late.
And with my upcoming plans to adventure in 2018, I figured this was the best time to do it – plus, I got an unbelievable deal that I couldn’t pass up!
Then, on the way down, I decided to break in the camera by visiting Sedona, which ended up being a no-brainer. There was still some snow on the red rocks making for some beautiful views.
