The Pandemic Tour – Day 4 – Into Grand Teton NP
Roadtrip Sponsored by the United States of America’s Cares Act
This one is gonna be short. Not much happened on Sunday the 28th.
With rain seemingly hitting every spot on our Wyoming destination list, we spent the night in a Pinedale hotel that luckily had a hot tub which we eagerly waded into to numb our ailing bodies. After giving our legs a good soak, we enjoyed a real mattress vs the blow-up kind.
Once we packed up the car the next morning, we headed northwest towards Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. As I mentioned above, western Wyoming is getting whacked by a massive weather system. Due to this, and to not suffer four days in the rain/cold, we booked some nights in Teton Village at their hostel.
I stayed here a year ago and it is surprisingly nice, considering we are surrounded by rooms that probably go for 3x the cost we’re paying.

Austin and I did venture into the park for a couple of hours to shoot Mormon Row and enjoy the cool breeze before the rains rolled in. The sunflowers are also in bloom and are absolutely stunning.
As for what will be happening over the next couple of days with subpar weather, we truly don’t know. We could be forced to stay inside or the rain could subside for hours at a time, letting us explore.
Hopefully, I have some good things to report in the days ahead from Grand Teton National Park!
Until next time adventurers, take care and be safe.
