1. Buckskin Gulch
Buckskin Gulch, about 45 minutes outside of Page, is ranked as one of the top hikes in the southwest. Starting at Wire Pass Trailhead (off a bumpy dirt road, but passable in a compact car), you can reach the slot canyon in around a mile.

After that, the distance is up to you, but many suggest backpacking which requires a permit.
2. Slot Canyons
Antelope Canyon, Secret Canyon, Waterholes Canyon, and Canyon X are all run by local Najavos and give you access to some of the most beautiful sights in Arizona. All of these are casual walks that will leave your mouth agape.
Most of these slot tours will be between 90 minutes and two hours and will cost between $70 and $100 +/-. These also fill up fast, so plan ahead and try to aim for one in the middle of the day when the lighting will be the best.

The most Instagramable spot in the world. Horseshoe Bend became an overnight sensation due to social media, and you now have to pay to get in. It’s worth it for those who have never been before. The best times are sunrise or sunset – for the views and the limited crowds.
If you go during the middle of the day, be prepared for warm weather and swarms of crowds.

4. Toadstool Hoodoos
30 minutes from Page, the Toadstool Hoodoos are right off the 89 and a cool place to check out. It’s gained popularity, but it still shouldn’t be too crowded. The hike out is nearly flat and leaves you at a large opening with various Toadstool Hoodoos.

5. Lee’s Ferry
Just past Marble Canyon Bridge, Lee’s Ferry is on the Colorado River, allowing you to get into the canyon and river itself. They have camping and hiking when it’s not sweltering hot. Of the low-key things to do in Page, Arizona, this is great.

A smidge north of Page, Lake Powell straddles the Arizona/Utah border and has boating, swimming, and hiking opportunities. The possibilities are endless as Lake Powell has more shoreline than the entire coast of the Western USA.

South of Page, Marble Canyon and Marble Canyon Bridge cross over the Colorado River. This will give you access to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lee’s Ferry, and the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument.
There’s parking on both ends, and you can walk out onto the bridge, giving you a really unique view overlooking the river below.
8. Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Another one of the things to do around Page is this overlook. Take Scenic View Rd to the parking lot and walk about 100 yards down to the viewpoint. It’s a perfect place for a quick morning breakfast or coffee stop. All I ask is you don’t fall off.
9. Lone Rock Point
Park at Lone Rock Beach Campground and spend the day or night near the lake. This is a perfect place for SUPing or Kayaking on the lake. Any visitor will say this is one of the amazing things to do in Page, Arizona.
10. Alstrom Point
This requires a 4×4 vehicle, but the views at the end are supposedly unique. I haven’t been (I don’t want to kill my Prius, haha), but it’s on my bucket list and should be on yours too. Google Maps says it’s a 2-hour drive.
11. Vermillion Cliffs National Monument
The Vermillions Cliffs are home to some of Arizona’s biggest gems. White Pocket, the Wave, Buckskin Gulch, and others make it a treasure trove for adventuring. The main road through Vermillion Cliffs is driveable with a compact car, but getting to White Pocket requires a 4×4 high-clearance vehicle.
