Is California really that great?

From a photographer’s perspective, California provides almost everything you can want from the outdoors. You have water, trees, beaches, snow, mountains, national parks, alpine lakes, and everything.

It was a fantastic time, and after spending a year in Santa Barbara, I could happily see myself living there again!

Why is southern California so famous?

Combining Hollywood, perfect weather year-round, and fantastic beaches give you a pretty hard-to-beat result. The cost of living is high, and there are, unfortunately, society-wide issues with massive inequalities of wealth to contend with. But putting that aside for a moment, it’s hard not to see why SoCal is teaming with people!
